Newsroom's mini crossword is the quick companion to its daily crossword. Each weekday brings a dated grid, for example 'Mini crossword, Tuesday 6 October', of four by four squares with one or two black squares and about eight clues across and down.

The clues are short straight definitions with the answer length in brackets. You click a square or a clue and type, and the clue list sits beside the grid. The puzzles are supplied by Pagemasters.
