MCdle

MCdle is a set of daily Minecraft guessing games made by Elito, who started it in autumn 2023 and still updates it. There are three daily modes, Mobs, Blocks and Items, and each picks a new answer every day for everyone. You type the name of any mob, block or item, and the game lays out its properties in a row of tiles, green for a match, red for a miss and orange for a partial match, so you can work your way towards the answer.

In the Mobs mode the columns are release version, health, height, behaviour, spawn conditions and classification, with arrows telling you whether the answer is higher or lower. Hints unlock as you go: the release version after 4 guesses, the starting letter after 10 and a zoomed picture after 16. By default you have unlimited attempts; a setting limits you to six for a harder game, and another sets how much game knowledge the search box assumes. Each page shows how many players have found today's answer and what yesterday's was.

Wins build a streak, and a Bestiary keeps every answer you have uncovered, so over time you build a collection. There is also Crafting Bee, a recipe game on a grid of hexagons and a crafting table, with a random game for playing beyond the dailies.

The site can be played in English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Catalan and Chinese, item names included. It has no ads and needs no account. It suits Minecraft players of any level, since unlimited guesses mean nobody is shut out.
