McBirdle #461 on desktop after two guesses: Paul McBeth and Gannon Buhr rows with green United States and MPO cells, a yellow average finish, age arrows, and empty rows 3 to 8

McBirdle is a daily guessing game for disc golf fans on the Kendisc site. You pick a professional player from the list, and each guess shows how they compare with the mystery player on sponsor, nationality, division, 2026 average finish and age. You have eight guesses, and a new golfer unlocks at midnight Eastern time.

About McBirdle

McBirdle is a daily guessing game for professional disc golf, part of the Kendisc site made by Kendel Chopp. Each day sets one mystery player from the pro tour, numbered so you can compare with others, and gives you eight guesses to name them.

You type a player and pick from the roster, and the game lays your guess out as a row across several columns: sponsor, nationality, division, a season average finish and age. A green cell is an exact match. A yellow cell is close: an average finish within 5 places, or an age within 2 years. The average-finish cell says whether the answer finishes better or worse, and the age cell has an arrow pointing up or down, so every guess trims the list of who it could be. After eight guesses the answer is revealed.

The wider Kendisc site runs related disc golf features, including Lines and Par 3 Pick 'em games, a competitor directory and private leagues you can join or create, but McBirdle itself is a quick standalone daily. Playing the daily needs no account, though signing up lets you join leagues and keep a record.

It is free and has no ads, and when you finish you can share a row of coloured squares. It suits disc golf fans who follow the pro tour and know players by their sponsors, divisions and results.

How to play McBirdle

  1. Type a professional disc golfer's name in the search box and pick them from the list.
  2. Read the row: sponsor, nationality, division, 2026 average finish and age are each compared with the mystery player.
  3. Green means an exact match; yellow means close (average finish within 5, age within 2 years).
  4. Use the better or worse label on average finish and the up or down arrow on age to steer your next guess.
  5. Name the day's player within eight guesses, share your result, and come back after midnight Eastern time for a new one.

Tips

  • Open with a well-known player so the first row fixes the division and nationality quickly.
  • Use the age and average-finish arrows to bracket the field before guessing names at random.
  • Think about sponsors: players on the same brand often share divisions and tours, which narrows things fast.

Questions

How many guesses do I get?

Eight. After the eighth guess the mystery player is revealed.

What clues does each guess give?

A comparison on sponsor, nationality, division, 2026 average finish and age. Green is an exact match, yellow is close (average finish within 5, age within 2 years), and the finish and age cells say which way the answer lies.

When does a new golfer unlock?

At midnight Eastern time, as the game's help box says.

Do I need an account?

No. The daily plays without signing in. An account on Kendisc is for its leagues and other games.

Is it the same player for everyone?

Yes. There is one numbered mystery player per day, shared by all players.
