Marble Trap: a zigzag grass track over the sea lined with cannons firing at the marble, level 21 of 22

Marble Trap is an isometric marble racing game in the style of Marble Madness: roll to the finish past axes, spikes, cannons and pits without falling into the sea. Its Challenges tab adds a new daily course and a weekly one, each with a leaderboard for the best time.

About Marble Trap

Marble Trap is by NanningsGames and came out on Steam in September 2019. It takes after Marble Madness, Marble Blast and Super Monkey Ball: you steer a marble with the directional buttons alone along floating isometric tracks, racing to the finish without rolling off the edge. The main game has 144 levels, from simple tracks to courses full of rotating axes, spike cubes, rising spears, trap pits and cannons, and slow players can find a chainsaw chasing them.

The Challenges mode arrived in a March 2022 update. It has a daily and a weekly parkour: each day there is a new course to play, and your best time goes on the leaderboard if you are online. You can retry as often as you like, so the daily is about learning the course and shaving off time. Later updates brought the main game's new tiles and obstacles into the daily runs and added more variation to them.

Each course also has stars to collect for achievements. It suits players who like short speedrun attempts that fit into a few minutes a day.

How to play Marble Trap

  1. Buy Marble Trap on Steam and open the Challenges tab.
  2. Choose the daily parkour.
  3. Steer the marble with the directional buttons past the traps to the finish, without falling off.
  4. Retry to improve your time; your best run is uploaded when you are online.
  5. Compare your time on the daily leaderboard, and try the weekly course too.
