Magnitudle is a free set of daily estimation games by Teej, published through GriddleLink Games. Size It Up has you resize a silhouette beside a reference until the scale looks right, Weigh It Up asks how many of one thing balance another, and the Daily Question gives you one guess at a big number.
About Magnitudle
Magnitudle is an independent daily games project created by Teej and published through GriddleLink Games, the people behind GlobeHoppr. It is built around estimation: no specialist knowledge, just intuition, a bit of reasoning and the nerve to commit to a guess.
The headline game is Size It Up. Each round puts a blue reference silhouette beside a red one, such as the Chicxulub asteroid next to Mount Everest, and you resize the red one until the comparison looks true to life. Lock it in and the real size is revealed. A daily game has five comparisons worth up to 100 points each, for 500 in all. Regular uses real-world things, Pop Culture uses fictional ones and Geography uses places and landforms.
Weigh It Up shows a balance: a reference such as the Statue of Liberty on one side and an object such as a llama on the other, and you type how many of the second it takes to balance the first, over three rounds worth up to 300 points. The Daily Question asks one real-world number, such as how many bus stops London has, with a calculator and notes beside it and one guess. Scores are by ratio, so guessing double is marked the same as guessing half.
There is also the Weekly 1K, ten themed rounds from Monday, a timed weekly Survival mode from Wednesday, an archive of every past puzzle, streaks, ranks against everyone who played the same puzzle, and leaderboards. You can play as a guest; an account keeps progress across devices.
It suits players who like Fermi questions and guessing how big, how heavy or how many, more than recalling facts.

Tips
- Anchor on a dimension you know, such as a person's height or a car's length, and scale from there.
- Use the zoom buttons when the two objects are very different in size; zooming does not change your estimate.
- Scoring is by ratio, so on a hard question think in powers of ten before fine-tuning.
- Past puzzles in the archive are practice and do not touch your streak or statistics.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Size It Up, Weigh It Up, the Daily Question and the other public modes are free in the browser. The site shows ads.
When do new puzzles appear?
Daily puzzles appear at midnight in your game time zone. The Weekly 1K starts each Monday and Survival each Wednesday.
How is Size It Up scored?
Each of the five rounds is worth up to 100 points, 500 in all. A guess twice the real size scores the same as one half the real size.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play as a guest; progress is kept in your browser and can be moved into an account later.
Can I play old puzzles?
Yes. The archive has every past Daily Question, Size It Up, Pop Culture, Geography and Weekly 1K puzzle, as practice that does not count toward streaks.
