Livery (FlightQ)
Rate itName the airline from its tail colours in six guesses.
on flightq.app

Livery opens with an airline's tail fin painted in a few blocks of its real colours, in their true proportions. Each wrong guess rearranges the same colours a little closer to the real design. Name the airline within six guesses, in Easy, Medium, Hard or the Historic tab of classic paint schemes.
About Livery (FlightQ)
Livery is FlightQ's daily airline-recognition game. An airline's livery is its paint scheme, and each round hides one tail fin. The first clue lays the tail's colours across the fin in a few large blocks, sized to how much of the real fin each colour covers. A wrong guess never changes the amount of each colour; it only rearranges the same pixels, so the stripes, curves and emblems of the real tail come slowly into focus. Even the sixth clue stays soft, and the crisp tail appears when the round ends.
You search by airline name, two-letter IATA code or country, and a guess counts only when you pick a suggestion. There are four daily puzzles, Easy, Medium, Hard and Historic, each with its own airline, six guesses and saved progress, all changing at midnight Eastern. Historic uses classic schemes and former airlines from a collection of 60 designs. Puzzles are numbered, and the archive keeps every past day: yesterday's is free, older ones come with FlightQ Premium.
Results share as a colour row and guess trail without naming the airline, and correct daily answers earn XP in FlightQ's shared progression. Unlimited adds current, alternate and cargo designs for practice. The game is free with ads on the web and in the FlightQ apps, and Premium removes the ads. It suits aviation fans and anyone who notices the tails at an airport gate.

Tips
- Start from the largest colour and its contrast colour: many carriers are known by one pair.
- Watch for the direction of stripes and any curved emblem as the tail sharpens.
- Search by country when you know the region but not the carrier.
- Try Historic for classic schemes you may remember from older photos.
