Kyudoku asks you to choose nine cells from a grid of digits. Between them they must use each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once, and no row or column may add up to more than 9.
About Kyudoku (Puzzleship)
The two rules pull against each other: you need the large digits to complete the set, but large digits are what break a row or column total. Clicking a cell cycles it between ruled out, selected and clear, and bold cells are given selections.
Working from the top down helps. The 9 must stand alone in its row and column, an 8 can share only with a 1, and by the time you reach the small digits much of the grid has decided itself. A digit that appears only once in the grid must be chosen. Puzzleship also sells printable Kyudoku booklets.
Puzzleship publishes six grids of Kyudoku a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's grids are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and a new set goes up at 13:00 UTC, although the page says midnight in your own time; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.
