on kartchaos.com

Kart Chaos is a free 3D kart racing game that runs in the browser on a computer or phone. Each day its Daily Challenge sets one track, racer and kart for everyone, and your best three-lap time is ranked on the day's board. Around it sit Grand Prix cups, single races, ghost time trials, a Weekly Cup and online races with friends.
About Kart Chaos
Kart Chaos is a cartoon 3D kart racer played in a web browser, with no download and no account. It runs with a keyboard, a gamepad or touch controls on a phone, where the kart can accelerate on its own and you steer with a drag pad. It has what kart racing fans expect: drifting that builds sparks into a mini-turbo, a rocket start off the countdown, ramp tricks for a landing boost, coins that raise your top speed and item boxes with bananas and red coconuts.
The daily part is the Daily Challenge. Each day the game picks one track, one racer, one kart and an engine class from the UTC date, the same for every player. The tracks come round in shuffled blocks, so each of the 8 tracks shows up once before any repeats and never two days running, while the racer, kart and class change with it. The race is three laps with three chilis for boosts and no items, so nothing random decides it: it comes down to your line, your drifts and where you spend the chilis. You can race it as many times as you want, and only your best three-lap time counts on the day's board, which also shows yesterday's podium. A new challenge starts at midnight UTC, and the menu keeps a daily streak.
Outside the daily race there is a Grand Prix of two five-track cups against computer racers, Versus for a single race with your own rules, Time Trial against your own ghost, a Weekly Cup, an evening Race Hour, and Online, where you join a public race or open a private room and share its code. Players can also describe a track for the game to build and share it as a community track, keep friends together in racing crews and share a result card or a short video after a race.
It suits anyone who likes short arcade races and chasing a better time, and the fixed daily setup makes it a fair contest between friends who all drive the same kart on the same day. The game can be played in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Japanese.
How to play Kart Chaos
- Open kartchaos.com and choose Explore the menu, or press Start.
- Pick Daily Challenge to see today's track, racer, kart and engine class.
- Type the name you want on the boards and press Race!.
- Accelerate with Up or W and steer with Left and Right or A and D; on a phone, drag the pad to steer.
- Hold Space or Shift while turning to drift, and let go when the sparks change colour for a mini-turbo.
- Use your three chilis with E or X, or the Item button, where a boost gains the most time.
- Finish three laps, then race again if you like: your best time stays on today's board.

Tips
- Hold accelerate just as the countdown turns from 2 to 1 for a rocket start; pressing during the 3 stalls you.
- Hold a drift until the sparks reach orange or purple before letting go for a longer boost.
- Tap drift right after leaving a ramp for a landing boost.
- Save a chili for a long straight or a corner you can cut on the grass.
- Practise today's track in Time Trial first; the challenge screen says which track, kart and class it is.
- Try the interactive tutorial from How to Play if you are new: it covers drifting, mini-turbos and ramp tricks.
Questions
What time does the Kart Chaos Daily Challenge reset?
A new challenge starts at midnight UTC, and the challenge screen counts down to it.
Can I race the Daily Challenge more than once?
Yes. You can race it as often as you like, and only your best three-lap time counts on the day's board.
Are there items in the Daily Challenge?
No. Everyone gets three chilis for boosts and no item boxes, with the same track, racer, kart and engine class.
Does the daily track repeat?
The 8 tracks come round in shuffled blocks, so a track returns about once every 8 days, never two days running, with a different racer, kart or class picked from the date.
Do I need to download anything or make an account?
No. It runs in the browser, and you only type a name for the boards. A player code lets you carry your times to another device.
Does Kart Chaos have ads?
We saw none: no ad scripts load on the page and no ads showed while racing on a computer or a phone.
