Hideling is a free daily seek-and-find played in the browser. Each day brings one 3D island crowded with animals, and you turn and zoom it to spot the three wearing the day's disguises, plus a matching set and a golden secret. Your time is ranked against everyone who played that island, and you can hide an animal of your own for a friend to find.
About Hideling
Hideling is a daily seek-and-find game in 3D, made by Rens, an independent developer in the Netherlands, and its first daily island came out on 3 October 2026. It runs in any up-to-date browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no account and no download, and it can be played in English, Dutch, Spanish and German.
Each day's puzzle is one island, the same for everyone that day, and it changes at midnight in your own time zone. The puzzles are numbered from #1 on 3 October 2026. Five islands take turns: Penguin Island, Banana Island with its monkeys, Sheep Island, Meerkat Island and Red Panda Island, each shown in different weather and light, and the crowd of animals and the ones in disguise are new every day. The start card shows the three animals you are looking for by what they wear, from a single item for the easy one to a combination of items for the hard one. Below them is a set to collect, such as every animal in a red bandana, and a golden secret for sharp eyes.
You drag to turn the island and pinch or scroll to zoom while the animals walk, swim and tuck themselves behind things. A wrong tap adds 3 seconds. Hints are there when you are stuck, at a cost: the first shows the area (10 seconds), the second a smaller area (20) and the third makes the animal jump (30). Only your first try of the day counts, and at the end you see how your time compares with everyone else's, a daily and monthly top 10, and your streak.
What sets Hideling apart from flat spot-the-difference games is the whole island in 3D: the hardest stowaway often stands where you have to turn the camera to see it. After the daily puzzle you can hide an animal yourself: pick a disguise, walk for 30 seconds to a spot and send the link, and your friend gets the same island and has to find you. The maker pitches it at teens and adults who like a short daily puzzle, and keeps the islands family-friendly.
How to play Hideling
- Open today's island and read the start card: it shows the three animals to find by what they wear, the set to collect and a hint for the golden secret.
- Press Start searching to begin the clock.
- Drag to turn the island and pinch or scroll to zoom in on terraces, beaches and the water around it.
- Tap the animal you think matches an item on the list; a wrong tap adds 3 seconds.
- If you are stuck, tap an item on the list for a hint, which narrows the area or makes the animal jump at a time cost.
- Find all three stowaways and the set, then see your time against everyone else's and share your result.
- Optionally hide an animal yourself and send the link so a friend can search the same island for you.

Tips
- Check the hard stowaway's full outfit first: it wears a combination of items, so an animal with only one of them is a wrong tap.
- Turn the island all the way round before zooming; the hardest animal often stands on a side you cannot see from the opening view.
- Look at the water and the small rocks and boats around the island, not only the terraces.
- A hint costs 10 seconds or more, so a few careful wrong taps can cost less than an early hint.
