Helm (Yuki Games)
Rate itFive quick self-control rounds a day: tap where the arrow points, not where it tempts you.
on helm.yukigames.workers.dev

Helm is a free daily reaction and focus game by Yuki Andersen. Each day brings the same five short rounds for everyone, all testing self-control: arrows flanked by liars, signals in the wrong place, shapes you must not tap, switching rules and taps away from a pull. Each round is scored from 0 to 100, with no ads and no sign-up.
About Helm (Yuki Games)
Helm calls itself the daily control gauntlet. It is one of a series of small daily browser games by Yuki Andersen, alongside Tempo, Scout, Glimpse, Gauge, Bearing and others.
Every round is a burst of quick taps on two big zones. In one you tap the side the centre arrow points to while the arrows beside it point the other way. In another you tap where an arrow points, not where it sits on screen. You tap fast on filled shapes but hold back on outlined ones, switch between judging shape and judging count when a frame cue flips, and tap away from a pulsing dot unless it is the gold ring that must be tapped on its own side.
Every answer is a tap on one of two big zones, left or right, or the arrow keys on a desktop, so it plays with one thumb on a phone. Rounds are scored 0 to 100 on your median speed, with penalties when you give in to the pull, and the day's total can be shared as a five-square trail. A practice mode works as an endless focus trainer with a 12-level difficulty ladder per round type and a lifetime self-control profile. There is no signup, no ads and very little text in the rounds themselves, though the rules and menus are in English.
It suits anyone who likes reflex tests and brain-training style tasks in a two-minute daily dose.
After the five rounds the results screen shows today's rivals: how many players ran the gauntlet in the last 24 hours, the best score among them and where yours ranks, all anonymous. A seven-day chain of squares on the menu tracks your streak, and every round you finish earns XP towards a 12-rank ladder kept in your browser.
How to play Helm (Yuki Games)
- Press Play today's daily on the menu.
- Read the round's rule card, then press Start when ready.
- Tap the left or right zone (or press the arrow keys) by the rule: the middle arrow in Steer, where an arrow points in Drift, filled shapes only in Hold, the frame's rule in Swap, away from the dot in Avert.
- Ignore the misleading cue; a wrong tap costs more than a slightly slow right one.
- Finish all five rounds for a score out of 100 each, then copy your five-square trail to share or challenge a friend.

Tips
- Speed matters, but a wrong tap costs more than a slightly slower right one.
- Keep your eyes on the centre item and ignore the flankers.
- On rule-switch rounds, check the frame cue before every tap.
- Use practice mode to warm up a round type you find hard.
Questions
Is the daily the same for everyone?
Yes. The gauntlet is seeded by the date, so everyone playing that day gets the same arrows, streams and switches.
When does a new gauntlet start?
The day number comes from your device's local date, so a new gauntlet starts at your local midnight.
How is it scored?
Each round is scored 0 to 100 on your median correct speed, with a penalty for every slip: a wrong-way tap, a tap you should have held back, or a timeout. Your daily total is the average of the five.
Do I need an account, and are there ads?
No account is needed and the game shows no ads. Progress, streaks and ranks are kept in your browser.
Is there a practice mode?
Yes, an endless trainer: drill one round type or all five mixed, on a 12-level difficulty ladder per round.
