DopeNet is a comic trading game in the tradition of Dope Wars: you take a loan, buy goods cheap in one city and sell them high in another, and try to clear your debt within 30 days. Its Plug Play mode gives every player the same seeded 30-day run each day, ranked on a leaderboard.
About DopeNet
DopeNet, by WeirdoMart, came out on Steam in April 2024. It is a deliberately crude parody of a dark web marketplace: fictional products with silly names, a loan shark to repay in 30 days, travel between cities, police raids, hackers, a lottery and horse races, all presented as an old-school phone-style app on a desktop.
The March 2026 update, DopeNet 2.0 (The ClapBack Pack), added three online modes. Plug Play is the daily one: a daily competition in which everyone gets the same seeded 30-day run, apart from the luck of gambling, and the best result sits at the top of the leaderboard. Every 24 hours a new Plug Play goes live and the leaderboard resets. 1v1 Duels pit two players on the same prices asynchronously, and Dumpster Fire Contracts add a day-job layer. The June 2026 FlexMart Era update added a shop of social items aimed at other players.
A run is quick: watch prices, buy when something is cheap, move to another city, sell high, pay the shark and avoid trouble. Because everyone sees the same price swings in Plug Play, the leaderboard is a fair test of trading choices.
It suits players who enjoyed Dope Wars or other buy-low-sell-high games and do not mind adult humour; it is not for children.
How to play DopeNet
- Choose Plug Play from the game modes to start today's seeded run.
- Check the market in your city and buy goods that are cheap.
- Travel to another city and sell where prices are high, while dealing with events and messages.
- Pay off the loan shark by day 30 and finish with as much cash as possible to climb the daily leaderboard.
