DailyMetro Singapore is a daily guessing game about the SMRT and SBS Transit MRT lines. Type any station and the game colours its lines, the direction to the target, the length of its name and its area green, orange or red, guiding you to the day's station in 8 guesses. Map and Photo rounds follow on the same station.
About DailyMetro Singapore
DailyMetro is a set of free browser games, one per city, made by Eliott, an engineer who builds them in his spare time. The Singapore edition covers the SMRT and SBS Transit MRT lines and is shown in English.
Each day has one hidden station and a day number, the same for everyone, and a new one is drawn at midnight Singapore time. You start with any station you like and have 8 guesses. For each guess the board shows four clues: the lines it is on, an arrow pointing from your guess toward the target, the number of letters in its name with an arrow for longer or shorter, and its zone. Each clue turns green for a match, orange for a partial match or red for a miss. From the fourth guess the game shows you the target's line.
The day has three rounds side by side: Classic, Map, where you place the station on a map of the network, and Photo, where you recognise a station from a picture of its entrance. On first play you choose Normal or Connoisseur, a harder setting with tougher clues. A streak counter, statistics and a View past days button for earlier stations sit around the board, and no account is needed.
It suits locals and transit fans who know the MRT by heart, as well as visitors who want to learn it one station at a time.
How to play DailyMetro Singapore
- Open DailyMetro Singapore and choose Normal or Connoisseur the first time.
- Type the name of any station in the Classic round to make your first guess.
- Read the clues: lines, direction to the target, number of letters and zone, each coloured green, orange or red.
- Use the arrow and shared lines to pick a station closer to the target; from guess 4 the game shows the line.
- Find the station within 8 guesses, then play the Map and Photo rounds and share your score.
