DailyGram puzzle #129 of 19 October 2026: today's empty 10x10 Expert grid with its row and column number clues, Fill and Mark buttons below

DailyGram is a small free browser nonogram (picross) game on itch.io with one numbered puzzle a day, the same for all players. You pick a quick 5x5 or a harder 10x10 grid and fill cells from the row and column number clues; every puzzle can be solved by logic alone, with no sign-up and no ads.

About DailyGram

DailyGram is the first game by the developer ndcheng, published on itch.io as a free HTML5 game. Each day it gives every player the same nonogram, numbered from the first puzzle on 13 June 2026, and a new one comes at midnight by the player's own clock.

A nonogram is a grid with number clues beside each row and above each column. Each number is the length of a run of filled cells in that line, in order, with at least one empty cell between runs. You fill cells and mark the ones that must stay empty until every line matches its clues. DailyGram says every puzzle can be solved by pure logic, so you never have to guess.

Each day has two grids under the same number: a 5x5 Easy that takes well under a minute once you know the rules, and a 10x10 Expert that asks for real cross-checking between rows and columns. A short how-to box opens on the first visit. There is a timer, a fill and mark switch (on a desktop, right-click marks and holding the button paints a line), a streak count and a spoiler-free emoji result to share. The interface can be switched between English and Chinese.

The look is plain and calm, a beige board with large cells that fit a phone screen as well as a desktop. There is no archive and no extra puzzles, so it suits players who want a short daily picross with their coffee, and newcomers who want a gentle 5x5 before trying the bigger grid.

How to play DailyGram

  1. Open the game on itch.io and press Run game; close the how-to box with Start playing.
  2. Pick today's 5x5 Easy or 10x10 Expert grid.
  3. Read the number clues: each number is a run of filled cells in that row or column, in order, with gaps between runs.
  4. Tap a cell to fill it, or switch to Mark (right-click on a desktop) to note a cell that must stay empty.
  5. Finish the picture to see your time, keep your streak and share your result, then try the other size.

Tips

  • Start with lines whose clues add up close to the line length; overlaps reveal sure cells.
  • Mark empty cells with X as soon as you know them; they are as useful as filled ones.
  • Work back and forth between rows and columns after each new cell.
  • Try the 5x5 first if you are new, then move to the 10x10.
