Daily Unfold
Rate itA sheet is folded and punched: mark where the holes land when it opens.
on dailyunfold.com

Daily Unfold is a daily spatial reasoning puzzle. You see a square of paper folded along dashed lines and punched through every layer, and you tap the grid where you think the holes will appear once it is unfolded; three puzzles a day get harder, with a timed Expert round after.
About Daily Unfold
Daily Unfold turns the paper folding and hole punching task, familiar from aptitude tests, into a short daily habit. Each puzzle shows a sheet folded one or more times and then punched. You mark the cells where you expect holes in the unfolded sheet, then submit to watch the paper open and check your answer.
There are three puzzles a day: easy on a 4 by 4 grid with one fold, medium on 6 by 6 with two folds, and hard on 6 by 6 with three. Each earns one to three stars depending on how many holes you place correctly. Clear all three to unlock Expert, a timed puzzle on an 8 by 8 grid whose times go on a public daily leaderboard under a nickname.
Puzzles are generated from the date, so everyone in the same timezone gets the same set, and they change at local midnight. The archive holds every past day, exactly as it was. There are no accounts: streaks and stars are kept in your browser. The web game is free, with ads at breaks: after the hard puzzle, on the Expert leaderboard and between archive puzzles, never during a puzzle. Developer Mert Aslan, who makes it alone, also has apps for iPhone and Android, where a one-time Unfold+ purchase opens the full archive.
It suits anyone who enjoys visual puzzles, and people practising for spatial reasoning tests.

Tips
- Unfold one step at a time in reverse: each fold mirrors the holes across its line.
- Count holes: each fold doubles them, so three folds give up to eight per punch.
- Use the archive to practise without touching your streak.
Questions
Is it the same puzzle for everyone?
Puzzles are generated from the date, so everyone in the same timezone gets the same three.
When do new puzzles appear?
At midnight in your local time, so players in different timezones get the same sequence a few hours apart.
Do I need an account?
No. Streaks and stars are stored in your browser; Expert only asks for a nickname.
Is it free?
Yes. The daily puzzles, the archive and the Expert leaderboard are free on the web, with ads at breaks such as after the hard puzzle, never mid-puzzle. In the apps, a one-time Unfold+ purchase opens the full archive.
