Daily Time Travel drops you at a historical event and gives you a goal year. At each hop you see two events and pick the one that takes you closer, trying to arrive in three hops, the day's par. Each numbered journey is the same for every player.
About Daily Time Travel
Daily Time Travel is a short history game from Klurium, the maker of Daily Timeline and Wordlander. Its first journey went out on 6 July 2026, and each day's journey has a number and a date, a starting event such as Britain abolishing the slave trade, and a goal year shown at the top of a vertical timeline.
At every hop two events appear as cards, and the game asks which one takes you closer to the goal year. Your marker jumps to the year of the event you chose, nearby years are marked on the timeline, and the game tells you how many hops remain. Wrong picks are counted, and a wrong option you have already tried is greyed out when you come back to it, so every journey ends.
Each journey is built from nine events in date order, with a straight path of three hops from start to goal, so par is always three. The events come from a bank of a few hundred, picked by a seed of the date, so the day's journey is the same for every player. When you arrive, the result screen sets your hops against par and gives you a result with your streak to share. After that you can replay the day or try the next day's journey early.
The game can be switched to Swedish with the button in the top corner. Your progress and streak stay in your browser, and there is no sign-up.
Compared with games where you drag events into order, it is a quick run of two-way choices, and knowing dates closely rather than roughly is what keeps you on par. It suits anyone who wants a few minutes of history a day.
How to play Daily Time Travel
- Open Daily Time Travel and note where you start and the goal year at the top of the timeline.
- Read the two event cards at the bottom of the screen.
- Pick the event that takes you closer to the goal year; usually that is the one that happened later.
- Watch your marker jump to that event's year, and keep choosing until you reach the goal.
- Compare your hops with the par of three and share your result.

Tips
- Before you pick, place both events roughly on the timeline in your head.
- A big jump that lands near the goal can save hops, so do not always take the nearest event.
- Ancient and medieval dates are easy to mix up; use known anchors such as AD 0 on the timeline.
Questions
Is the journey the same for everyone?
Yes. Each day has one numbered journey shared by all players, drawn from the date.
What does par mean?
It is the fewest hops the journey can be done in. Every journey is built with a path of three hops from start to goal, so par is three.
When does a new journey come out?
At midnight in your own time zone. The result screen counts down to it.
Can I play in another language?
Yes, there is a Swedish version from the button at the top left.
