Daily Rinds

Daily Rinds turns cheese knowledge into a daily guessing game. Each day there is one numbered mystery cheese, the same for every player, counted from cheese number one on 1 January 2024, with the new one arriving at midnight Pacific Time.

You start typing a cheese name, pick it from the suggestions and press Guess. The game shows your cheese as a row of seven tiles: country, milk, texture, colour, flavour, whether it is aged, and rind. A tile is green when that trait matches the answer and red when it does not, and the matches gather in a Known Clues box above your guesses. With those clues you narrow the field over six guesses. A Today's Stats panel shows how other players fared, and a Learn More link tells you about the cheese afterwards.

The pool holds over a hundred cheeses, and the maker keeps adding more and fixing the data, with a dated changelog on the page. Matching is forgiving: a cow guess counts against a cow and sheep blend, and England matches United Kingdom. A Browse Cheeses list shows everything that can be guessed, Past Games lets you play any earlier day without touching your stats, and Study Mode offers flashcards with hints.

It suits cheese lovers, cooks and anyone who likes guessing games with attribute clues on an unusual subject.
