Daily Galaxies is an iPhone version of the Spiral Galaxies logic puzzle with one board a day, the same for every player worldwide. Each dot is the centre of a galaxy, and you gather cells around the dots until every galaxy is symmetric and no cell is left over. The week ramps from Gentle on Monday to Fiendish on Sunday.
About Daily Galaxies (Daily Knot)
Daily Galaxies follows the Spiral Galaxies puzzle, also known as Tentai Show. The grid holds dots, some in cell centres and some on edges or corners, and each dot is the heart of its own galaxy. You pick a galaxy and tap cells to add them to it. Every galaxy has to stay symmetric under a half-turn around its dot, and every cell has to belong to exactly one galaxy. When the grid is full and balanced, the galaxies settle into place.
Every player worldwide gets the same date-seeded board each day. The difficulty follows the week: Gentle on Monday, then Easy, Breezy, Medium, Tricky and Knotty, and Fiendish on Sunday. There are no wrong moves and no clock pressure while you work.
Each grid has a par time set from the work it needs; beat it and you earn up to five stars, with tiers named Steady, Sharp, Swift and Flawless at the top. A spoiler-free card shows stars, time and streak, freeze tokens cover a missed day, and optional Game Center leaderboards track daily solve times and the longest streak.
The daily puzzle and Warm-up practice are free with no ads, no account and no tracking, and Galaxies+ is a one-time purchase for harder practice. It is one of the single-puzzle daily apps from the maker of Daily Knot, and came out in June 2026.

Tips
- A cell next to a single dot with no other dot in reach must belong to that dot's galaxy.
- Whenever you add a cell, its mirror image across the dot must be added too.
- Dots on an edge or corner need galaxies of even width or height around them.
- Leave the large open areas for last: they are usually forced once small galaxies are done.
