Full Circle #206, themed connection: LINK and LINE solved in green, then the clues an untruth (3) and connection (3) still empty, joined by Change 1 Letter and Remove 1 Letter steps

Full Circle is a daily word path from the maker of CrissWord. Each word has a clue, and each step to the next word is one of four moves: change a letter, add a letter, remove a letter or rearrange them. The first and last words share the same clue, so the path closes into a circle. Wrong guesses cost points, and hints, a reveal and a hard mode that hides the answer lengths are there if you want them.

About CrissWord: Full Circle

Full Circle is the daily word-path game from CrissWord, by Chris Ward. Each puzzle is a chain of words, and every word comes with its own clue. You start at the top of the path and work down, entering one word at a time, until you return to where you began: the first and last words always share the same clue, so the path closes into a full circle.

What links each word to the next is one of four actions, shown between the rows: change one letter (swap a single letter), find an anagram (the same letters rearranged), add one letter (insert a letter anywhere) or remove one letter (drop a letter). The connector between two words turns green when the pair is a valid move and red when it is not, which is a check on the transformation itself and separate from whether your answer matches the intended word.

There is one correct answer for each step, and wrong guesses cost you points, so it rewards reading the clue before typing. A hard mode makes it tougher by hiding the lengths of the answers. The daily puzzle is numbered and the same for everyone, and it takes only a few minutes. Each one has a short theme word that its clues share. On 28 October 2026 puzzle #206 was themed "connection" and ran through four words, from a four-letter answer down to a three-letter one.

Each word has its own Hint button, and a Reveal a Word button and a Reverse Order switch sit above the path, so you can also work it from the bottom up. Finishing keeps a streak and gives you a result to share, and earlier puzzles stay open to play. The game runs in the browser with no sign-up and no ads, and it was first published on 6 April 2026 by Mento Apps Ltd.

It suits people who like word ladders, anagrams and clue-based word games, and anyone who already plays the other CrissWord puzzles.

How to play CrissWord: Full Circle

  1. Press Play on the start card to open today's path.
  2. Read the clue for the first word in the path and type your answer.
  3. Move to the next word: the action between them (change, add or remove a letter, or anagram) tells you how it transforms.
  4. Watch the connector colour. Green means the two words are a valid move apart, red means they are not.
  5. Use each word's own clue to pin down the one correct answer, and avoid wrong guesses, which cost points.
  6. Finish the path back to a word that shares the first clue, closing the full circle.

Tips

  • Solve the clues you are most sure of first; a known word fixes the letters its neighbours must use.
  • Let the action guide you: an anagram step means the same letters, while add or remove changes the length by one.
  • Because the first and last words share a clue, a strong idea for one end gives you the other.
  • Think before you type: wrong guesses lose points, so confirm the action works before committing.
  • Stuck at the top? Press Reverse Order and start from the last word, whose clue is the same as the first.

Questions

What is the full circle?

The path of words loops: the first and last words share the same clue, so you end where you started.

What are the four actions?

Change one letter, find an anagram (the same letters rearranged), add one letter, or remove one letter.

What do the green and red connectors mean?

Green means the two words are a valid single move apart. Red means they are not. The colour checks the move, not whether your answer is the intended one.

Is there a penalty for wrong guesses?

Yes. Each word has one correct answer and wrong guesses cost points.

Is there a harder mode?

Yes. A hard mode hides the lengths of the answers.

When does a new Full Circle puzzle come out?

The game picks the puzzle by the date on your device, so a new path opens at midnight in your own time zone.

Can I play earlier puzzles?

Yes. The end screen has an Earlier Puzzles button that opens past days.
