About Connect (Times of India)
Connect is one of the puzzles in TOI Games, the games section of The Times of India website and app, alongside a daily crossword, sudoku, Loop the Loop and other titles. Its subtitle, The Perfect Trace, describes the task: on a small square grid you draw one continuous path from a Start point to an End point that passes through every cell exactly once.
Each puzzle sets a start, an end and a few short walls between cells that the path may not cross, so the challenge is to find the route that covers the whole board. There are three levels each day, Easy, Medium and Hard, with larger or more awkward grids as the level rises; the day's Easy board is a 4 by 4 grid. Every player gets the same dated puzzles.
A timer runs while you play, with pause and reset buttons above the board and a Hint button below it, and a how-to-play panel sits beside the grid on a desktop. You can draw the path without an account; the site asks you to log in to keep a streak and to go back to earlier days.

How to play Connect (Times of India)
- Open Connect in TOI Games; today's Easy board loads first.
- Start at the green Start cell and drag a line from cell to cell.
- Visit every square exactly once, without crossing a blue wall, and finish on the red End cell.
- Use Hint if you are stuck, or reset the board and try another route.
- Move on to the Medium and Hard puzzles for the day.

- Corners and dead-end cells next to walls usually have only one way in and out, so plan around them first.
- Work backward from the end point when you get stuck.
- Avoid cutting the board into two areas the path cannot both reach.

Yes. The puzzles are dated, with fixed Easy, Medium and Hard grids each day for all players.

No. Despite the name, it is a path-drawing logic puzzle, not a word grouping game.
