Campsite is a daily Tents and Trees logic puzzle on the web. Each day brings one 12 by 12 board: pitch a tent next to every tree so that the row and column counts match and no two tents touch. It needs no sign-up, keeps your time, and offers Free Play boards in three difficulties once the daily is done.
About Campsite
Campsite is a browser version of the logic puzzle known as Tents and Trees. The board is a square of grass with trees scattered over it, and a number beside every row and column. Your job is to place exactly one tent next to each tree, up, down, left or right of it, so that each row and column holds as many tents as its number says.
The one rule that makes it hard is that tents never touch, not even diagonally. Squares that can never hold a tent are shaded darker green, and two tents that touch light up in red, so you can see at a glance where the open clearings are. A counter above the board shows how many tents you have pitched out of the total, and a timer runs while you play.
The daily board is the same for everyone on a given date and changes at midnight on your own device. On the days we looked, 17 and 23 October 2026, it was a 12 by 12 grid with 31 tents to place. If you get stuck, a Show hints box marks trees that have no tent to pair with and tents that cannot be paired with a tree, at the cost of 30 seconds added to your time. When you finish you can share your time, then carry on with Free Play boards at Easy, Medium or Hard.
Campsite is made by Clown Face, who also run Shinro Garden, Sunset and Triplet on the same Daily Games hub. It plays on a phone or a computer, with taps or the arrow keys, and suits anyone who likes a calm deduction puzzle that takes a few minutes a day.
How to play Campsite
- Open campsite.daily-game.page to load today's board.
- Read the numbers beside each row and column: they tell you how many tents go in that line.
- Tap a clearing next to a tree to pitch a tent there, or tap it again to take the tent down. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys and press Enter.
- Give every tree exactly one tent directly above, below, left or right of it.
- Keep tents apart: no two tents may touch, not even at the corners.
- Finish when every tent is pitched and every count matches, then share your time or start a Free Play board.

Tips
- Start with rows or columns whose count is 0, or whose number equals the open clearings left in them: those fill or clear themselves.
- Every square around a tent, diagonals included, is ruled out for other tents, so mark that ring off in your head after each placement.
- A tree with only one free neighbouring clearing must have its tent there.
- Use Show hints only when stuck, since it adds 30 seconds to your time.
