Bloxist is a 3D rolling block puzzle from Puzzleship. A 2x1 block tips end over end across a floating grid, and the portal only takes it when it arrives standing upright. Six boards a day, very easy to ultra hard, each with a par for the fewest moves.
About Bloxist (Puzzleship)
Bloxist is one of the daily logic puzzles on Puzzleship. The board is a 3D grid of tiles floating over empty space, with a tall purple block standing on one tile and a glowing portal on another. Each move tips the block over one edge, so it alternates between standing on one square and lying flat across two. Fall off an edge and the board resets; arrive on the portal lying down and nothing happens.
Reaching the portal is easy; arriving upright is the puzzle. The block's orientation depends on the exact sequence of rolls, so the shortest route is often the wrong one. Two rolls in the same direction leave it upright again three squares further on, which is the rhythm to count. The harder boards add more: the ultra hard board on 17 October 2026 had a par of 27, a switch tile and tiles of a different kind along the way.
Each day brings six boards under one number, graded with one to six bulbs, the same for every player. A move counter sits beside the par. Earlier days stay playable in the archive, which goes back more than a year. Arrow keys or WASD move the block on a desktop, U or Ctrl+Z undoes a move, and on a phone there are on-screen move buttons under the board.
Puzzleship is free to play with no account needed; it shows banner ads around the board, and a premium plan removes them. Bloxist suits players who enjoy planning a whole sequence before the first move, in the line of classic rolling block games.
How to play Bloxist (Puzzleship)
- Open Bloxist and pick one of the day's six boards with the bulb tabs, one bulb for very easy up to six for ultra hard.
- Roll the block with the arrow keys or WASD, or the move buttons on a phone.
- Keep track of whether the block is standing on one square or lying across two, and keep it on the tiles.
- Bring it onto the glowing portal standing upright to finish the board.
- Press U to undo a move and compare your move count with the par.

Tips
- Count rolls per direction, not squares travelled.
- Find the squares you can roll into the portal from, and aim for those.
- A short out-and-back detour on the other axis flips the orientation.
- The gentle boards can be solved in your head before you press a key.
