Atlas is a small daily quiz app by Jacob Laird, released on the App Store on 29 January 2026 and last updated in April 2026 (version 1.0.5). A new quiz arrives every day at 7am local time. Each day it picks one geography topic, such as a country, a region, a theme like the world's most colourful cities, or a part of the natural world like waterfalls, and asks ten questions about it.
The app describes itself as inspired by classic newspaper quizzes, and it keeps to that format: no endless feed and no extra rounds, just ten questions and a result. After you answer, you can see how friends scored and how players around the world did on the same questions that day.
The home screen keeps a day streak, a running count of questions answered and your accuracy, and lists the past week's quizzes so you can catch up on topics you missed. Each topic opens with a photo and a short description before the questions start.
