Art Keeper is a calm daily art puzzle. Each day one work from art history is cut into about a hundred block-shaped pieces; you merge them back together to reveal it, then learn who made it, its movement and its story. Solved works can hang in a gallery you decorate, and other players' galleries are open to visit.
About Art Keeper
Art Keeper is a daily puzzle for people who like art and a slower pace. Every day one work from art history, usually a painting but sometimes a sculpture or a print, is cut into pieces shaped like blocks of squares. You drag them together on a plain board; pieces that belong side by side merge, and the picture shows itself piece by piece. Only a handful of pieces are out at a time: when fewer than five remain, a tap on the counter brings more out. The puzzle of 21 October had 103 pieces.
When the picture is whole, the reward is the reveal: the artist, the movement and a short account of the work, with longer stories and short videos in the Atlas. Solved works go into your own gallery, where you choose rooms, walls, frames and labels, and the home page lists galleries other players have built.
The game is made by NartApps, the small studio behind the daily dot-to-dot picture puzzle Nodes. It runs in the browser and in apps for iPhone and Android, which came out in October 2025. Today's puzzle is free and needs no account; you play as a guest and can sign in to keep your progress. A Pro membership at $3 a month through Patreon opens the whole archive of past puzzles, more gallery rooms and Pro frames, and in the apps it also removes their ads. The web game showed no ads when we played.
It suits players who want a quiet jigsaw with no timer pressure, and anyone who would like to meet one new artwork a day.
