Arkadium Mini Crossword

The Mini Crossword is Arkadium's quick daily crossword. The page opens on a month calendar: today's square carries a PLAY button and a daily bonus of 50 points, the days ahead are greyed out, and earlier days ask you to register with a free Arkadium account before they open. A running total of points and puzzles solved for the month sits above the calendar.

The grid is small. On 19 October 2026 it was five squares by five with five across and five down clues, constructed by Tyler Triebold, with entries such as a sports award show and the team that won Super Bowl XX. Arkadium describes the clues as gentle and straightforward, most answers five letters or fewer, and with no theme to work out. A timer runs while you solve.

Check tests a letter, a word or the whole grid, and Reveal fills one in. A pencil mode lets you mark guesses, and Print gives paper versions for right-handers, left-handers or large print, with an ink saver setting for the black squares. On a phone the grid sits above its own on-screen keyboard.

It is free in the browser with ads around the game; Arkadium's Plus subscription removes them. It suits players who like the New York Times Mini or the LA Times Mini and want one more small grid each day.
